Woodcock Farm is set on the Cotswold Way

History on your doorstep

The peaceful 36 acres sits on an Iron Age hill fort with links to both the Roman and Anglo-Saxon periods. Atop a west facing escarpment, it comprises a large central meadow, circled by two ring mounds, with the small woodland to the southern edge – perfect for those who enjoy scenic walks, and being immersed in nature.

LUXURY SELF-CATERING

Our accommodation comprises newly renovated and fully-furnished luxury self-contained apartments, each with its own private entrance. The apartments have been designed to provide every home comfort. Completed with beautiful furnishings, contemporary bathrooms, delightfully comfortable beds, a welcoming and relaxing living space and fully-fitted kitchen, we aim to provide an oasis of calm and comfort away from your daily lives.

Sustainability and Environment

Maintaining the wonderful hill fort is integral to the experience, as we see it, and we aim to do so in as environmentally friendly way possible. One of our first decisions was to install a large array of PV solar panels on our barn roofs, which means we produce nearly all the electricity we use on the property.

Tour the Cotswolds

Nearby are Bath, Bristol, Tetbury, Westonbirt, Chipping Sodbury & Cirencester, just 5 mins from J18 of M4, opposite the Badminton Estate.

The Cotswold Way National Trail

The trail crosses the property, so we are ideally situated for beautiful walking, and exploring the surrounding towns and cities. However, as the farm is set in a quiet rural location, you will escape the hustle and bustle of the rest of the world.

We had an excellent stay at Woodcock Farm Holidays. Fort View is a clean, cosy cottage. We slept very well in the comfortable beds with soft bedlinens. No noise at all at night. We started the day full of energy with walking, shopping and admiring the beautiful three Sodburys with its stunning landscape. We also enjoyed the sight of the grazing sheep, the chickens and the geese on the farm.

Really loved it here, we had a lovely stay and the owners communication was exceptional. Lots of great recommendations for things to do and places to eat were provided which helped make our stay even better by taking out the stress of having to do any research ourselves. Would highly recommend.

Perfect spot for exploring the area, spotlessly clean, comfy beds, friendly, helpful hosts. Our 2nd visit.

A beautiful barn conversion in a great location with a reserved parking space and lots of local walking routes around the farm. Barn End was very modern, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, with everything we needed for a great stay, including teabag, coffee and milk on arrival.

Our second visit but not the last. We both simply love the place and feel very comfortable and at home..
